Joint Military Naval Exercise with US and Japan


The U.S. and Japanese naval forces will maintain bilateral training exercise for 10 days, beginning Thursday – over 14,000 U.S. employees will take Part in the drills.

The workout is designed to increase the defensive preparation of American and Japanese forces through instruction in sea and air operations. The practice will occur in the oceans surrounding Okinawa.

Three U.S. aircraft carriers also engaged in individual exercises Sunday with Japan’s biggest warship. Japan also dispatched one of both big aircraft carriers along with two escorts to take part in the drills at the Sea of Japan and East China Sea. This effort will send a powerful signal to Pyongyang of all U.S. capability to quickly mobilize a potent military power.
